Mind To Pen, Diana's Doodles: your Creative Mindful Journal
Mind to Pen is a mindful doodling activity book inspired by the hidden artworks of local artist Rachelle Francis’s late mother, Diana.
Between 1972 and 2019 Diana created and squirrelled away around 1,000 mesmerising doodled patterns. Experiencing complex
trauma and lifelong mental health conditions, doodling provided Diana with joy, sanctuary and self expression - her last doodle left
unfinished 3 months before she died.
Mind to Pen was created “as inspiration to support people to achieve mental calm in a chaotic world. By connecting her mother’s
words, doodles and theory on the restorative process of ‘mind to pen’ doodling, with this book Rachelle has given us the privilege of
being welcomed into the world of an outsider artist, her world as a textile artist and her mother’s hidden archive… and even an
opportunity to become an artist ourselves”
A beautiful yet functional journal inspired by Diana and made just for you, this book contains 34 step-by-step doodling exercises to help unwind your mind. Gift yourself focus, self care and self expression as you connect your 'mind to pen' moment, journeying through these pages and doodling your way towards inner calm...
