Edmund de Waal Atmosphere Catalogue
Relive Edmund de Waal's 2014 installation at Turner Contemporary. Commissioned specially for our ground floor gallery overlooking the North Sea, Atmosphere was created in response to the architecture of the gallery and the changing landscape and clouds as viewed from the space. De Waal, who grew up in Canterbury, is renowned for his work in ceramics, in particular his large-scale installations of porcelain vessels, and is the author of the bestselling The Hare with the Amber Eyes, winner of the 2010 Costa biography award.
