LaMere Chocolates

La Mere is a small independent bean to bar chocolate adventure based in Margate.

I use locally sourced produce as much as possible, and keep my flavours, and ingredients list, simple.

 

“Walk to Walpole” is a selection of ganache filled chocolates inspired by ingredients found on walks to Walpole Bay.

 

Blackberry Liqueur - Blackberry liqueur ganache with a blackberry jelly centre, covered in 67% dark chocolate

 

Seabukthorn - Tangy milk chocolate ganache made with seabuckthorn puree encased in milk chocolate and topped with flaked almond

 

Bitter Sea Salt - Dark milk salt ganache in a 75% dark chocolate shell

 

The packaging is entirely constructed by hand using paper made from upcycled disposable cups, and is in turn 100% recyclable.

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

Bitter Sea Salt: dark chocolate (cacao mass Tanzania, cacao butter, sugar, ground vanilla bean), ganache (organic peruvian cacao beans, organic cacao butter, whole organic milk powder, fairtrade sugar, cream (from milk), butter (from milk), glucose, honey), sea salt.

 

Blackberry liqueur: dark chocolate (cacao mass Madagascar, cacao butter, sugar, emulsifier (soya lecithin), natural vanilla flavouring), ganache (organic peruvian cacao beans, organic cacao butter, whole organic milk powder, fairtrade sugar, cream (from milk), blackberry liqueur, glucose, honey), blackberry jelly (blackberry juice, sugar, pectin).

 

Seabuckthorn: milk chocolate (cacao mass Ghana, cacao butter, whole milk powder, sugar,  emulsifier (soya lecithin), ground vanilla bean), ganache (organic cacao beans, organic cacao butter, whole organic milk powder, fairtrade sugar, cream (from milk), sea buckthorn juice, butter (from milk), glucose, honey), flaked almond.
